How Hypnotherapy Works

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process that works with the natural abilities of the mind. During hypnosis, the brain enters a deeply relaxed and focused state similar to the moments before sleep, meditation, or deep absorption. In this state, the conscious mind begins to quiet, allowing greater access to the subconscious patterns, emotions, memories, and beliefs that shape our daily experience.

Rather than losing control, most people experience hypnosis as a heightened state of inner awareness — feeling calm, present, and deeply connected to themselves throughout the process.

Through guided hypnotic work, the brain is capable of forming and reinforcing new neural pathways — a process known as neuroplasticity. By gently shifting outdated patterns and strengthening healthier thoughts, emotions, and responses, hypnotherapy can support meaningful and lasting transformation from within.

My Approach

A grounded, intuitive, and client-centered approach to inner transformation.

My approach blends transpersonal hypnotherapy with Ericksonian and NLP-informed techniques, creating a holistic and client-centered process that honors not only emotional healing and behavioral change, but also intuition, self-awareness, personal growth, and the deeper connection we have with ourselves.

Through this process, we can begin gently uncovering and integrating the parts of ourselves that may have felt disconnected, wounded, or unseen, allowing us to move toward a greater sense of wholeness within.

Sessions are thoughtfully tailored to each individual and may incorporate subconscious exploration, guided imagery, inner child work, Higher Self connection, emotional reframing, relaxation techniques, and supportive hypnotic suggestions designed to align with each person’s unique goals, comfort level, and inner process.

Whether you are seeking clarity, confidence, healing, emotional release, or a stronger sense of inner alignment, the process is always collaborative, gentle, and supportive. My goal is not only to support transformation within our sessions together, but also to empower you with tools you can continue carrying into your everyday life. When appropriate, sessions may also incorporate simple self-hypnosis practices to encourage ongoing healing, grounding, and self-connection long after the session has ended.

I believe every person carries an innate capacity for healing, insight, and transformation. Sometimes we simply need the right space, support, and guidance to access it.

Based in Salem, Oregon, I offer virtual hypnotherapy sessions over Zoom for clients seeking emotional healing, personal growth, and deeper connection with themselves.

If you feel called to explore this work, I invite you to schedule a complimentary 15-minute discovery call to see whether this approach feels aligned and supportive for your journey.
